• 2007 Tuff Truck Challenge winners, Mal Van Ysseldyk and Nick Finch, gave their rig more manoeuvrability with a Yuri^® 4x4 Rear Drive Disconnect before taking out the title.
• After a full year of usage, Yuri reinforced CV's were installed in a modified Hilux that competed at a “Tough Tracks” comp recently in Queensland. Even after damaging the front crown wheel (shearing six teeth) during the competition… The Yuri 4x4 Reinforced CV's remained intact!

About Rock Crawling:

Rock Crawling is an extreme sport using highly modified vehicles to compete in a timed event. The object is to get around a set course of boulders, drop-offs and other obstacles as marked-out.

Demerit points are accrued if you contact the markers, reverse, use rear-steer etc. The winner is the one who reaches the end with the lowest demerit point-score, within the set time-frame.

Although Rock-crawling is still young, it is the fastest growing motor sport in Australia and America at present. We love our Off Road Motor Sport here at Yuri 4x4 and keep up-to-date with the action by regularly competing ourselves.
